Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program


Medicare Counselors are volunteer-staffed service which Medicare beneficiaries who have problems or questions about Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Supplemental Insurance, Medicare Part D enrollment, Long-Term Care Insurance and related issues.

Physical Care and Well-being

Kristi Bearup, a board-certified family nurse practitioner with West Michigan Foot and Ankle, located on Jebavy Drive in Ludington, provides routine foot-care services, including toenail care and trimming and corn and callus treatment, by appointment only, at the Ludington Senior Center. 


To schedule an appointment to be seen by Kristi for podiatry care at the center, call 231-843-2690 Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Fridays till noon.

Support Groups

The Alzheimer's Association Mason County Caregiver Support Group meets at the Ludington Senior Center on the second Thursday of every month at 1:00 p.m. 


If you are unable to attend in the afternoon, another meeting is held on the same day at 11:00 a.m. at the Scottville Senior Center, 140 South Main Street, Scottville.
